It sounds like a leap, I know, but trust me on this. If you go around believing the things you are believing, other people will pick up on it, and it will inevitably become real.

If everyone is stupid, then the nature of the term 'stupid' leads one to conclude that no-one is stupid. You're contradicting yourself with that one simple statement.

Really, i'm not tired of the phrase, so much as the fact tgat people are surprised. Read a little history, and it becomes clear that asshole-ism is natural to humanity.
And besides, is it wrong to be bad? Maybe the ones with a good conciense are the faulty ones? "nice" is not what got humanity to the top of the food chain. "nice" is stay in your cave. "evil" spreads across the world over thousands of years, building massive hives (cities) over the pre-existng land, either killing or enslaving whatever's in it's path. Yes, mankind are assholes. But they're Running this planet because of it.

The problem with threads like this is the fact that there has been least over 100 other threads about people losing hope to humanity.
If you'd only told about that incident and named thread bit less "used" i could honestly take this seriously.
Lesson folks
If you want to rant about bad happenings do not ...
i repeat do not use words "lose,humanity,faith,etc" in title
to even shine little bit out from other threads.

Personally I blame the anomity of huge cities, I live in a small town and if... When that happens, the person who did it ends up having a LOAD of bad shit happen to him. Hell I know someone that tried stealing the money from a fund raiser for the school a few towns over, he was beaten by the whole town, had his hand broken, then was tied to post for a day and a half before getting hospitalized. People need consequences for their actions or they just won't give a shit... given I admit the above scenario is a bit extreme but even if you like said HEY that guy just stole money from the tip jar! Then he would have been up shit river without a paddle.
