You ever see a picture of someone and after you realize you recognize them as a porn star, you feel a little dirty that you knew that?
Yeah.....not the case here.
Never heard of any of these people.
(notice the tag line says adult film PERFORMERS....not 'Stars'.)
So immediately the 'novelty' of the whole venture was missing, and instead I just watched a few boring people being EXTREMELY boring together.
How does this pass for entertainment?

I like the idea and was mildly amused. I definitely will watch it next week when they hopefully start gaming for reals.

I really though that "A good knights quest" was bad (I just didn't like it) but this, just throws two completely none funny factors into an environment expecting something good. On one hand I don't know if the novelty of this can carry a show. It feels like this should be a documentary film or something. On the other hand I love the idea of it. It's subverting a lot of 'our' (You must understand I say our in quoatations because I am of the enlightened caste) expectations of both porn stars and D&D players at the same time. Interesting concept.

I know the 'Pist is pretty good about creative control for it's shows, but, seriously? Okay, I get the premise, it's an interesting premise... kind of. On the other hand, if you'd like to have a show, and put it on a site where you get paid for it, then get someone to hold your goddamn camera for you. The whole, amateur video shit may be fine in porn, but half the time I couldn't really see what was going on. I saw two randoms in the background, couldn't they hold the camera? It seems more like there was a session and the DM happened to have a camera. The whole thing lacked planning. Okay, do something documentary about an unusual group of players, but then actually do documentary style. Everything about this screamed half-assed. A clever premise which falls on its face immediately from incredibly poor execution. I'm disappointed in the Escapist that this pilot even made it onto the site.
