I'm not saying that it changing your expectations would make you enjoy it more or at all. It just annoys me when some people (not actually you, but some earlier commentators) hate on a video by comparing it to things outside its category. You shouldn't judge this video on how funny it is, because it is not really trying to be funny. That's not to say that it will be interesting to everybody, or even most people, just that it fails as a comedy because it never claimed to be one.AC10 said:Okay, I had false expectations. Now what? What grounds have you gained in the argument? The video is STILL not interesting/entertaining for me in any way whatsoever. Surely it's not wrong to hope the video would entertain me, even slightly? Like I mentioned before, the video is, intentionally or not a throwback to Italian neo-realist movies. Non professional actors, nothing happens, filmed on location, use of hand cameras - all the elements are there. I hate neo-realist movies.
Personally I am interested in this only because I'm DMing my own D&D game right now, and looking at the blog link that other members have posted, the guy looks like he is actually a good DM.
