Get a larger memorey stick
Buy Daxter
GTA games
Ratchet and Clank
I even use mine like a flash drive.
My friend says you can use it as an emulator too, but I haven't tried and wouldn't know.

If I had a PSP I'd try, you know, playing games on it!! (lol jk I know what you mean)
There arent many good games for it, but if you're looking for games, the ones I'll have if I had a PSP would be Prinny: Can I really Be the Hero, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and the next "card battle" Kingdom Hearts game when it comes out for it.

I use mine to watch movies a lot, its great if you're on holiday or something. Explore the games, i suggest something a bit quirky like patapon.

Get rid of it.
Thats just stupid and unhelpful.
You're right. It can be used as a paperweight.
*Sigh* Its a start, still too much troll added for my liking.

Trade it in for a DS lite.
I concur.

I love my new DS, even if it's not a Lite or DSi. And the games are yummy.

Get an snes emulator on it.

I think you can do that anyway...
Yeah, but you can do that on DS too. Playing Earthbound on a DS is full of win.

So i recently got a PSP and i just haven't found anything cool to do with it. The internet service for it kinda sucks and the games just all around aren't that great. I was wondering if anyone has found anything cool to do on it. It seems to have a lot of potential.
Custom firmware (cfw) is the only thing that will actually make the PSP worth the price, imo.
I'll not elaborate on how to obtain it (just google for it, cough cough), but if you've got cfw, you can do SO much more. The most obvious one is download games (admittedly I do it myself, BUT if I really like a game, I'll look it up in the store and buy it. Sadly, Disgaea is nowhere to be found), but you can also emulate. A lot. A LOT.
GB/GBC, GBA, NES/SNES, Genesis, NeoGeo, etc. If you bother messing around a bit more with the kernel, you can even emulate PSX games (again, google for it).

Of course, it's "illegal", but on the other hand some things are just impossible to obtain legally, why should we denied the fun (some old games are just impossible to find, period)? It's not like the developers are losing any money, because the game simply isn't sold anymore (unless it's second-hand, but again, no profit for the devs).

If you want to stay 100% legit, look up more games and just buy the ones that interest you most (I recommend Patapon and Disgaea for fun and lengthy games... God of War is short, but awesome).

Most people use it as a portable emulation kit. I know of people who have n64, PSX and Genesis emulators on theirs. And one person who stuck Linux on.

EDIT: Must also point out people are saying 2009 will be the best year for the psp... a lot of high-profile games coming this year.

If you have a PS3, you're set. That will make it much easier to load movies onto it: you can even download them from PSN if you're lazy and/or have money to burn. You can also get tons of demos off PSN too.

Of the games, I recommend

LocoRoco (2)
GTA Vice City Stories
Burnout Legends
God of War: Chains
Patapon
