After watching this I want to kill my childhood self, it was beutiful, moving and just a pleasure, now I want to ask if anyone else could recommend another movie from Hayao Miyazaki it would be greatly appreciated and if anyone could tell me of a similar experience, thanks

Sir you are a legend "The Cat Returns" is a one of the finest films of our time, and it has some extremely high class voice acting in the english dub, always a novelty in a japanese anime. Also the prequel( i suppose you could call it that) is very good too. Furthermore to the OP i agree that spirited away is excellent and well worth a watch.Kushin said:If you liked the animation style, The Cat Returns is one of the newer works and is a charming story about nothing inparticular.
Enjoy your new discovery and let no-one else question you over your choice![]()

There's nothing to "get" about it. Unlike Disney movies, there is no underlying message or lesson to learn; it's just a wonderful fairytale. There are a lot of growing of age memes to be found throughout the movie and everyone reflects upon the ties to their own childhood in different ways.matnatz said:What exactly is it about? One of the best books I've read this year. Nice to see a mention of it here.The_root_of_all_evil said:I can offer you a book: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
Besides the struggle between man and nature and their inability to find a balance between the two, right?chinese_democracy said:There's nothing to "get" about it.
