I'd like to point out how many of the older, veteran posters are saying stuff like this. Maybe some of the people on DHI are also veteran posters here who felt like voicing complaints without spawning yet ANOTHER boring mod topic here that would inevitably get locked? Just maybe? Maybe certain people shouldn't take every little bit of Internet criticism so seriously? Maybe it's because any criticism to certain websites IS taken so seriously that the website gets laughed at by some?

I mean, would somebody honestly like to tell me what is NOT annoying, irritating or laughable about 2-3 almost full-screen advertisements popping up almost every time I post? But complain about ad-spamming and oh, that's trolling.

Anyway, I recently discovered something that really pissed me off. Basically theres this ED rip off where pretty much all they do is whine about LRR, Moviebob and the Escapist.

I'm a big fan of all these things, and it pisses me off to see people being this ungrateful/jealous/trolling this hard. I found this site on the LRR forums, they went and trolled that site afterwards as well until Graham and Kathleen stopped them.

We are the opposite of 4chan really which to me is like the opposite between god and the devil really... except the sites actually exists heyyy ohhh!. No just kidding that last joke was mean but by my god reference I mean this, yes we know the Devil is bad and that is 4chan and we are God. Yet it is safe to say that god has made people do some fucked up things and isn't short of killing almost all of the world or making a dad kill his son and then say just kidding. This sight is big on a few things that I have bitched and whined about for a while now and its this: Their stance on Evolution and how most of the population here thinks your a total fuck up if you don't think Evolution was how we came about, their stupid obsession with being the biggest grammar Nazi's ever, and how glued everyone is to ZP and maybe this last one is just me but I see alot of people using the same grammar as he uses but maybe this is just me. Now the reason I pointed that out is because we take fire for those reasons. Its just best to ignore it and move on because despite the reasons mentioned above we still have a awesome community that is very civilized.

When I first saw the title of this thread, my first thought was a humourously toned 'Oh dear, did you actually go to 4chan or something?'

Then I actually read the OP (and the links) and was saddened by the fact that I wasn't far wrong...

The comment about the captchas was entertaining though, not least because on 4chan you have to type in just as incomprehensible things every single frigging post rather than just some of them.
