Okay, the real question I have here is: Why do male Escapists like talking about what they like in a girl? There are so many threads that turn into this, and I don't get it. I mean, you've got your "I like big boobs", then your "I like a girl who's attractive and likes me", then your "I'll take whatever I can get" and then your three paragraph long one about what colour hair she should have, and past experiences with girls of that hair colour. Is there some thrill in saying these things? I really don't get it. I've taken part in it maybe twice, and I'm not really sure why, but I know I don't feel inclined to say it again at every opportunity I come across.

I don't think the majority of them are sexist, so I want to make sure I'm not misinterpreted that way; I just think they're odd.

I'm not really sure, but it's probably because some people feel they have weird dislikes and likes, and want confirmation that they're not the only one? That doesn't make the threads any less stupid, though.

I think it's a fad. Like last year with all the "Why all the hate on ___" religion threads. Bear with it. It'll stop eventually.

I'm on the same boat as you, friend. In fact, I said something very similar a while ago on one of the appearance forums. I would answer, but I'm honestly just as perplexed.

Because men (and to some extent women) are interested in the topic? People are interested in the likes and dislikes of others, so it's no surprise that what one likes or dislikes in a potential partner comes up often.

Those threads weren't exclusive to religion and they haven't completely faded out, but your right they're a fad from people with small imaginations. I'm just hoping the female members can stand them for the entirety of they popularity.

Its a list thread. People like to throw in what they like/dislike. I don't find it any different than saying what my favorite game is. Its not like anyone is really going to read my post, but you get that warm and fuzzy feeling of thinking you actually posted and someone actually cares.

I like women with grass-green skin.. it's so erotic. The little shells on their back just make me shiver to stroke. Mmm....

On a serious note though I agree. I see it as an extension of the general male-gossip thing of "I'd hit that." and the like, in Forum format. It can on occasion turn into something both intellectually stimulating and hilarious to boot, but often not. Advertising what you like on internet forums can do well, I suppose. If you meet someone worthwhile who works for you and is willing to make sacrifices, that sort of thing. Otherwise it's no different from hanging around a bar going "Look at the jugs on THAT one!"

I like girls who look fantastic in red dresses, with cameras for faces, and have afflictions for ninjas of a specific color. Honestly. Although, I might add on that I have a thing for long hair. Especially brown hair. Long, brown hair. Honestly, it's gorgeous.

Although, I'm not really sure about the whole "I like girls who..." posts. Frankly, it is a fairly easy and relatable topic discussion, and has a lot of room for conversation. Though, I'd argue away from you a bit and say it often can be sexist.

Though, there's a lot to say about couples who meet on the internet and do well together. Not many recorded [http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a395/NewClassic/Kittens/kitten-3.jpg] cases, but I'm sure it's happened before.

May I ask why all of your hyperlinked words lead to photos of kittens? Is it to bewilder the overly curious?

If so, it's working quite well.

Because its a forum, I guess. Personally, I don't know what I like in a girl, as long as she isn't an asshole. But thats going somewhat off-topic.

I think that's like his new bolded names, or some type oh stamp of approval, or maybe it just proves its Taylor Hidalgo typing and not someone else.
