I liked Duke Nukem Forever.

Expectations just get to high after that long a wait. certainly not the worst game of the decade though

I played the demo for it, and I was depressed when I saw the lack of weapons. The addition of a railgun made me even more upset. I understand you could carry 4 weapons with a recent patch, but really, the puzzles in Duke Nukem: 3D were tougher. The graphics and some of the old weapon's designs, as well as some of the new enemy designs, are actually pretty cool. So, good for you that you liked it. I doubt I'd pay money for it, because it didn't live up to Duke's epic name.

Didn't think it was that bad either. Although, haven't finished it yet. I just completed the strip club level.

The best part so far has been the first level when you're walking around in Duke's house. I liked all the easter eggs and mini games. Guess no one else did.

also for the record, never was a fan. never cared for the hype. practically hated the idea.

Okay, I didn't love it, but I had a fun time with it. It was a fun way to kill a couple of hours, and I could finally say "I lived to play Duke Nukem Forever". However, the game still sucks. But if you go into it NOT expecting something good, you'll have a fun moment or two ...

Ok so the game has bad graphics, but im pretty sure I have seen worse and yeah the gameplay it feels broken somehow.... Ok so i Rent the game expecting pure garbage and Rage quitting or something and you know what? I really really enjoyed the game, maybe people expect a lot of this game and yeah who wouldn't it took 12 years or something like that. I wasn´t expecting anything, in fact I have never played other duke game in my life. The game feels old, but it was a fun ride.

Well there is one very important thing that you said and i quote " I wasn´t expecting anything, in fact I have never played other duke game in my life. . The problem with DNF is that , people had such high expectation , Too high, sky freaking high, and when the game let EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER down , well the shit storm hit the fan . Im sure if everyone played the game with no expectation it would have seen okay reviews, but after 12 years of development the only thing that people that were waiting for the game thought was : ' holy shit they took 12 years to developpe this game, this is gonna be AWESOME ! ' and the they played it and tears were shed.

EXACTLY... Never expect anything and you will be happy forever and ever.... No, seriously now, deep down we all know the game was going to be NOT THAT GOOD, I mean, they started the game 12 years ago, then they stoped change some things then they broke, then someone buy it... and then broke, then someone else buy it and change some things here and there and launched it.
