So not, the threads on her "Would you save me or your pet one has to die."
Not let a stranger die or keep all your videogame saves and achievements?"

Or the lamest, We need to force licenses on meat eaters...

And you lost it to the 14 year old girl dressing up and pretending to be a boy?

Well...takes all kinds I guess.
Oh man, you win this thread. I, sadly, read most of these threads and while I don't really "lose faith in humanity", I have to say that reading some threads is a total wall-banging experience. I think "Hmm, will this be an interesting discussion?" The answer is usually no, and then I get pissed at myself because I should have known better.

something about not having heard Meshuggah
*alarm goes off*

*rushes to thread*

You must remedy this immediately. Can't promise that you'll like them, but they are the most important and influential band in modern prog metal, that's for sure, and if you haven't heard them you're missing a lot. I suggest you start with their later material.

I believe I already posted on the OT in this thread, so away I go.

*flies away*

I only liked them when Mike Patton was involved.

I hope you enjoy dude :)
I don't want to derail your thread, but I want to post this song.

BTW, thanks for the last song.

This is not music for the masses. But I like it.
So it's safe to assume you liked that song?

Congratulations, this may be the most pointless thing I have ever seen someone say they lost their faith in humanity over. And considering how often people say that on this sight, that's quite the accomplishment.

Shame on you
Someone taking the title of my thread seriously? I didn't mean it clearly, I was making a funny.
we could't tell. This guy's right though, people on this site use that phrase way too much, and not in a "funny" way

You really lost your faith for the entire human race because of one person? Seems a bit unfair to me...

Yes I did, thanks again!

I don't adore the lead singers vocals as much as some others.... but it's a damn catchy and well written tune. It progresses without simple everyday riffs... that makes great music for the most part as far as I'm concerned.

I will link another song since you quoted me again : )

Dude that song was awesome...I'll have to get a hold of their music somti[me?

It's not really math rock, but I hope you like it.

The first post made lose faith in humanity.

But really, it's taste. I don't think I've ever heard any Opeth songs, so I can't really comment on their music. But music is such a subjective subject anyway, so I generally don't criticize others' taste in music.

Cool story bro.
I agree, but you may want to expand on your comment so you don't get a suspension.

OT: That is one petty reason to lose your faith in humanity.

Your misspelling of "site" has made me lose faith in humanity.
You're misuse of "Your" has made me loose faith in humanity
Your misspelling of "lose" has made me lose faith in humanity.

[sup]This is fun...[/sup]
Your very helpfull to my grammar etiquete
I apologize for being very off topic, but Zekksta, if you're going to correct somebody, be sure you actually know English first. Once again you misused the word your ( instead of the now appropriate "you are" contraction in this case) and then proceeded to misspell the word etiquette. Just saying...

You only became disapointed in Humanity "today"? what is wrong with you?! I have been disapointed for as long as I can remember, stupid humans. why do you think aliens refer to our solar system as "The Moron Zone". The only good thing that aliens find in good taste is Cricket.

I laughed so hard at this when I read it!

Seriously, I lose faith in humanity all the time over just about everything, but never completely. I realise soon after that different people have different thought processes and different tastes, otherwise everyone'd be doing the same job and society would crumble. However I do often question the direction of humanity when it's driving teenagers through a series of souless fads and turning them into attention seeking sheep who have no concept of true art or beauty who will, if trends continue, cause all men to become women-abusing, baggy pants-wearing, cool dudes who are too concerned with how good their hair and thousand dollar clothes look to see their best frineds about to drive-by them, AND turn all women into bikini-wearing whores! However, I'm hoping this won't happen or, at least won't last, otherwise we'd all still be wearing leg-warmers, obesity would be non-existent and fashion would be MUCH brighter and far-fetched than it is today.

...I'm allowed to be cynical about other people's appreciation of beauty, I listen to classical music! ;)

One thing I do lose faith in humanity over constantly is the number of agressively serious people on the internet who are too busy trying to resolve an issue with snide yet aggressive remarks to notice a joke.

I also often lose faith in humanity's ability to use proper grammar and spelling, including proper noun usage...;)
