As for this whole "Lost-Faith-in-Humanity" thing...why would anyone have faith to begin with? And no, I don't mean that from a cynical view, I mean why do you give a damn? You can't watch all of humanity at once and frankly, the actions of one group of people doesn't impact the rest of the human race. Especially if it's something as trivial as Japanese cartoon. If you want to be dissapointed with that piece of animation and it's creators, sure. But don't let it impact how you view the rest of Japan and their animators, let alone the actions of the entire motherfucking human race.

This isn't even the worst that anime has to offer. It's shameless loli fanservice; nothing to really be surprised about. Hell, I do find it a bit cute at times (keywords: at times; little girls stripping is still very very uncomfortable and weird to me).

Honestly, I find stuff like Elfen Lied and School Days a lot more screwed up. There's also the tentacle porn hentai, if you hate yourself enough to go looking for it.

Well, I can't know for sure, but I think the reason for that is that a tentacle is flexible and fits any hole. So, quite practical for the purpose, and thus widely used.

Okay, so its an anime with a shit ton of sex appeal. Not sure where you've been, but even my limited viewing of anime has shown to me that this is quite normal. In fact, the only abnormal thing I've noticed is the lack of that one male character for the ladies to fawn over.

Actually, it's an anime with a crapton of failed sex appeal. Not that I'm a fan of portraying pubescent girls as sexually mature.

It's sad to me that there's generally a half-decent story in anime shows too, but it gets obscured by the blatant pandering.

nope it's not for shits and giggles it's integral part of battle system. You need to take girl's(Reyvateil) clothes off to gain more power in battle and hit more hard with her damage ability. You do that by damaging monsters hitting the high notes in music with other party members and then taking off layer of Reyvateil's clothing.

OT: I can't understand why you over react to this. It's an anime opening for a game that's fairly silly, plays on sex and then that's pretty much it. There are games like rapelay and there's serious issues out there such as war, poverty, hunger and this is what makes you lose faith in humanity?
