I love the Escapist

Okay so I joined back in 2006 (apparently) and have only started up a week or two ago, and already I love The Escapist (not trying to suck up) if it's not the community of people its the ability to swear without being reprimanded (banned) *cough* gamespot *cough* I've been searching a lot of sites lately and have seen many people who just don't care about what you say or even post their own opinion but not The Escapist (okay yes The Escapist but more people post their opinions here then other sites i've seen)

So tell us why you love the Escapist so much!

Yes, I was always surfing this site for a long time, started watching Unskippable and Apocalypse Lane since the beginning and thought I should join up! Also who is Ultrajoe?

OT: I started frequenting Escapist because a friend suggested Zero Punctuation, however I joined after Unforgotten realms started, I do miss it *cries*
and I started uber posting about 3 months ago *dances*
Also this is the first non Dedicated RP forum I've joined so go Escapist you got me hook line and sinker ;-)

At any rate, I started to enjoy this site after learning about Zero Punctuation. I spent a couple months lurking, joined the forums and haven't regretted it. Very few places on the internet contain such a surprisingly high percentage of intelligent people and while some threads get disturbingly repetitive, I find more unique topics here than I do anywhere else.

I love the Escapist because of the quality videos, the great forum community (especially the RP section) and the great job done by the mods when dealing with trolls and other rule breakers.
