That was rather nice so I had to respond and say a big thank you!
If you haven't managed to see The Guard yet, it's a great movie about how dysfunctional and hilarious life can get here.

The Commitments was fucking awesome!
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out. I love good cinema!

Few things are better than a damn good movie- especially one with Brendan Gleeson, Liam Cunningham, Don Cheadle and Mark Strong.

"Put the kettle on" is your reaction to absolutely everything; good, bad, or neutral.

City on fire? "Hang on a tick, I'll put the kettle on and we'll have a bloody good think about what we should do."
Someone announced their wedding? "Fantastic! I'll put the kettle on!"
Your wife is having her friends over? "I'll just put the kettle on and watch the telly."

Measured response to everything. That measure is usually either one or two sugars :p

Fucking love you guys!

I'm Canadian living in London (UK, not Ontario).
I love Canada. It's beautiful. And what's not to love about the UK?

I'm from the USA (Texas).
I love how relatively cheap everything is in America! I could go to a game store and not have to spend $100 on a game!

I'm from Australia (Wollongong)
Wollongong thats strange to see someone from here on the net well technically Im just outside of wollongong but eh (shellharbour)

OT:For the US: Bethesda is based there and theres a lot of other game companys there

Australia
I love Australia, I live here and it's great. The snakes keep all the spiders away.

So....Australia.

Australia: Great food, great people, great beaches, great TV, great health care, and great education!

Surprise surprise, Australia.
Great TV?!?! Do you live in some kind of bizarre alternate Australia?

OK, actually if you're referring to ABC on a Wednesday night (i.e. Spicks and Specks and Gruen Tranasfer etc) then I understand.
Uh... what? TV is free (unlike USA) and we have great shows like Talkin' About Your Generation, Spicks and Specks, Gruen Transfer, The Collectors, Hamish and Andy, Packed to the Rafters and more. The channels kind of fuck up American shows (showing them out of order, stopping them mid series etc.) but I just buy the DVDs.

UK has great castles, and Top Gear.

Australia.

USA, i quite enjoy all the personal freedoms and especially the fact that this country created dunkin' donuts.

i'm american, but for the sake of not being repetitive, let's go to the other country for which i have citizenship: the philippines.
