Indeed, I'm expecting Heart Gold to be the best in the series. Let's just hope they don't add a bunch of lame new pokemon as well. Improve the graphics and add running shoes and I'll be completely satisfied.

judging by what they did with firered/leafgreen you should be fine but they will be putting in the new moves...

The new gold and silver games will have all 493 (or something like that) pokemon in them. They will also be compatible with the other three games of this generation.
So, basically, you will be playing an updated version of gold and silver which work like the red and green remakes; first you play the old game with some minor upgrades (and today's generations graphics) and then you will get the national dex to hunt all pokemon down.

I know that I was talking for the main story.

I think that they should allow poke-fans to send certain pokemon into extinction and then we would only be left with the cool ones I vote horribly destroying pokemon like gulpin, lotad, luvdisk, all the juniors, burmy, seedot and nosepass. wtf?!? and to stop adding pre-evs and post-evs. enough's enough! leave eevee alone!!!!

I miss the good ol days of pokemon. I would like to see a revival of pokemon in the form of an very well made 360/ps3 title but I doubt that will ever happen.

i enjoyed the original games on the hand held, although i never did get around to completing any of them. i would love to see a proper 360/ps3 title as well, especially as you could then have a proper online tournament going on. i really liked the idea of Pokemon Colosseum on the Wii, with the decent graphics in battle, but it was only the battling, a proper storyline like in the originals would be awesome.

P.S. I've watched all the seasons. . . well up until the changes the Voice Actor for Ash, then i kinda lost interest.

yeah, it was in like Season 9. *hangs head in shame* I did get that far. but it was just too different and i didn't like it.

A lot like when they SEGA started calling Dr. Robotnik Dr. Eggman. I mean what the hells up with that. I read the books back in the day where they explained all about Dr Robotnik and how Sonic became Blue. I would go on but that's off topic. I've not even been a member a day yet, so i don't want to push my luck!

I miss Pokemon, too.

But my aim is getting better.

The game design is a bit simplistic, truth be told. You've got your types, you can use each move x amount of times and they're independent so using one move won't carry any ramifications versus using another move. It might seem awesome to kids, but to an adult it's something you can master very easily then it becomes tedious. Perhaps if you really want to catch em' all, there's an achievement appeal.

And yes, I do miss the simpler days of red/yellow, where you can actually catch em' all.
