I'm Albertan and i tend to eat more vegetables than anything else. Stir-fry, salad, and the like is what i tend to make when I'm hungry, though I'm no vegetarian and nor do i cook very often.
My activities include climbing/parkour/free-running, vidya games, and the wonders of the internet.

what their diet consists of and recipes for a commonly eaten meal,

We eat beaver and moose steaks topped with maple syrup.

as well as some information on what are some of the commonly engaged, day-to-day activities of the Canadian citizen.

We skate, play hockey, and eat maple syrup from the jar, all while worshipping American culture and wearing bear hats.
I knew it! All my theories have borne fruit!

Depends on the Canadian. It's a pretty big country, not to mention ethnically diverse. In Vancouver, where there are overwhelming numbers of Indians (the REAL Indians, not Native Americans) and Chinese, you get lots of people eating Indian and Chinese food. In Alberta, beef is the big one. Ontario, a mixed bag if there ever was one, us Ontarians are sort of like the cultural drainage trap of the country, we have it all. Quebec cuisine is more European, specifically French-ish and that is a VERY stretched "ish". PEI = potatoes. The rest of the Maritimes is a somewhat eclectic mix, but seafood, of course, plays a heavy part. Up North, we get a bunch of Inuit stuff.

And of course, University students are their own little sub-species and mostly revolve around, Mac & Cheese, Lipton Sidekicks and beer.
