It sounds crazy, I know, and since I've just recently become old enough to access the sites I've been going to for years legally, the effect is doubled by the irony. There was a time when that tension between visits with my girlfriend could be easily relieved with a quick google image search. Now though, I just can't get off in any satisfying way to arbitrary figures bumping uglies; it seems so... pointless. I've been desensitized. I long for something more, something with context and sexual tension -- something hot. But (and here's the complication), I can't get into quote/unquote "adult" fiction. It's just so dry and unintelligible for someone with as little real world experience as me. I don't even have a car, let alone a job, or any real responsibilities to speak of; I can hardly relate to the white collar everyman of, say, the erotic hentai, male lead stereotype. I'm still a kid at heart. Thus, I end up with guilty fever dreams that look like a mash-up between re-runs of The Jetsons and a Ron Jeremy flick.
So I'm curious Escapist, can you sympathize with this confused young gun? And what seedy romances leave you groping for a cigarette even when there's no one to share it with?
