How harsh are your parents? I know theres the whole father-hates-every-guy-who-dates-his-daugther-thingy (though i've never had any trouble with the parents of my girlfriends), but i haven't heard about it the other way around. I think it has to do with the fact that parents wanna protect their daughters virginity or something like that, but i don't think it's the same with guys.
Unless they have genuine reasons to concern, as if she were a drug addict or something, they'll hopefully acept the fact that you like her, and not do a lot about it.

As a last resort piercings can be taken out temporarily, and a tatoo on the shoulder can be covered by a t-shirt

also, how old are you? the school system is different in Denmark, so i don't know what age you are when in high school.

If that's the problem, then there really isn't anything you can do to change that, aside ...waiting for 3 years to where no one will care.
Just go out with her. As long as you're not doing anything illegal because you're dating her, then it's all good. Your parents will probably push it off as a "phase" anyway.

I would figure tats and piercings would be normal by now, at least it is for me. But if you don't want to hide it from your parents try to let them get to know what kinda person that she is, its very easy to judge someone by there outward appearance.

I wouldn't ask your girl to take out her piercings. If a guy asked me to take mine out to meet his parents I would assume he's embarrassed by me and I wouldn't like it very much. My in-laws aren't very keen on piercings and tats themselves, but they like me as a person and tend to ignore the fact that I've got some noticeable tattoos.

Just tell your parents that she's awesome, you're happy, she's happy and there shouldn't be a problem. She's dating you, not your parents.

What if the person asks you to take your piercings, because they are ashamed of you from the fact the parents will be disappointed and could lead to estrangement?

That said, I value my parents a hell of a lot more then most people. You know, because they raised me and all.

If he's ashamed of me, he shouldn't be with me. End of story.
