i need a new ball of antivirusprogramness. any recommendations?

AVG.

By far the best IMO.

i remember using AVG once. and it arsed around im my face more than ever (though that was a while ago so they hmay have changed that idunno)

It works well for me and has saved my laptop on more than one occasion. As long as you don't click on the like that asks you to pay for the full version that pops up every now and again it works great.

Avast is also quite good although it never seemed to help me even though there was something wrong with my laptop. But then again it's a pirate's software and pirates are awesome. Yarhhh matey *spitlle* *cough cough*

The earlier versions of AVG dicked around a lot but definitely the one I'm using now, AVG 9, it gets on with it and performs very well.

I think that might have been Avast. I know that pretty much after every scan I did the lovely woman with the lovely momotone voice came up and said "Scan has been completed" Arrrrggg shut up!!!

If this was I pirates voice though I would have been very impressed. Avast, comes with a free pirate.

Avant may possibly have the same voice thing but I'm not sure.

I have been using avast for a bit over 2 years now. Never got a virus.
I also use Malwarebtyes for the stuff that avast can't catch. Though I rarely get malware

AVG i think is the best free one and also malware bytes is really good for more powerful virus's

i dont know what its like now but norton used to be a piece of malware in itself being a system hog and stopping itself from being uninstalled

i personaly use NOD 32 and malware bytes they offer some of the best protection with low CPU usage

I use Norton (here comes the hate) and i have never had a problem with a slow system or it being to much of a pain.

Sry for double post, but I just read this.
Are you serious about the no porn? I mean common sense, I know what sites are wrong, but not all porn sites are unsafe. You just need to find the right ones.
Do have a question though:

If you don't get your porn from the internet, where do you get it?

Yeah so i just got an email from this McAfee thingie that i have been using saying that my free protection dies today.

so now i need a new FREE antivirus-program, hopefully one that does not arse around in my face too much everytime i start my computer etc.

anyone with a recommendation (and i'm NOT downloading one from a torrent site, Ok?)

Avast is quite good. i have it on mine.
