Take up the guitar. You can pick up a classical guitar pretty cheap and there are plenty of tutorials online to help you learn.

Exactly. Really helps me fill in the gaps between gaming and going out with mates. If you enjoy the acoustic, go onto electric if that style of music suits you better.

Entomology.

It's really interesting and you can learn a lot from looking at the little critters we share the world with (who are arguably far more successful than we are). Get yourself a digital camera and you can get some really lovely snaps too.

Learn how to throw cards.
It will be difficult at first, but once you have the technique and form down, you will feel like you have truly accomplished something. After that, you can spend any time of the day for as long as you want, flinging cards across the room. I do it often during load times, respawn times, or when I'm bored.
