I need help, Im at a point of complete and total boredom. I need an MMO, EQ2 is alright but I dont want to tank and at lowbie levels the game is empty, and I cannot decide on what class to play and such.

EvE online is also alright but I cannot do anything in the game because my skills are not high enough to PVP or lowsec, and before I can do that I am in the process of months and months of training, until then I can do: nothing.

Im tired of WoW, played it since release and i feel that its to predictable and the class balancing is messed up, also all the good players left a while back which leaves the servers filled with ego filled pricks or morons.

Iv played ff11, no one really played that game from what I saw, was a bit empty. WAR was a huge letdown, RO was alright I guess.

I need another MMO to play! I dont care about fees, I just need some fun!

thanks in advance!

I used to play the Guild Wars series, which was fun because i knew people that played it too. The graphics weren't terrible, better than most MMO's IMO. It is one of the most diverse class-based games i have played, mostly beacause you can mix classes. The leveling system doesn't require you to grind, and if you want, you can choose to play from level in PvE or start at max level and do PvP. PvP is a blast because in games like WoW, everybody has the same gear, skills, strategies, etc. but in Guild Wars, every person usually has a different build of skills and their gear is different to match their build. You basically fight a new person every time you do go in PvP. In PvE, you can do most of the game by yourself and a party of NPC players(who usually do stupid things, but hey, no AI is perfect) or go with a group of other players. The monster's range in looks and abilities is huge, so every zone is different and unique. The best part really is that there is no monthly fee! Just get the game and play. You can check it out at http://www.guildwars.com/. This site also has info on Guild Wars 2, which i can't wait to play.

Guild wars is good but once outside a main town/city you by your self unless in a party :L thats lame. also its too easy to get to 20, you cant jump or swim and theres alot of invisable walls around.

Well as a player of FFXI I'll just suggest that you must have picked a bad server, or started in Bastok. If you enjoyed the game and want a server with a lot of friendly people then Carbuncle may be good. Other than that Guildwars is a possibility for you.

Guild Wars has become very crappy, the only people playing it are elitsts that have been playing since it came out and utter retards, so I guess you should only play that if your boredom is lethal or something.

Guild wars if you dont mind a lack of the massive MULTIPLAYER aspect. Sure, lots of people play it. BUT there is only a maximum of 8 people at a time in any zone other than a city. Imagine Diablo 2 but zoomable, better graphics, more expansions, more diversity with abilities (You're not limited to your classes own classes spells, since you can split-class) and a much less linear world.

What about City of Heroes/Villains? They've just re-released it with all the Issues (content updates) on it, and it's really fun at all levels :)

You really don't need that much skills to PvP in EVE... Just join up with a proper corp and you can roam in a cheaply-fit frig with an AB and a scrambler... Just saying D:

Have you tried RuneScape?

There's quite a large free section (Free, not a trial) no download, easy to register. It probably wouldn't hurt to just check it out, and if you like it, Members is only £3.80 a month.

alliance battles have 12 players a side, 24 players + npcs. guildwars is a great game, but it isn't a true mmo.

I'd say Warhammer, but alot of people are having trouble staying connected to the servers these days.

darkfall is the best mmo you can get imo.
Really? It was released in February and it has got only one review at Metacritics. That's weak, seriously.

I'd suggest Ragnarok Online on a private server. Best if 3/3/2 rates, this way you won't get bored with leveling, but you won't get bored with too fast leveling either.

I think CoH is more played, but that's only because it's older and it actually has a place where people gather to do quests and chit chat. But there's little point in starting CoH or CoV now - Champions Online is basically an upgraded version, and it's coming out on September 1.

Yeah, When I saw the title I was gonna suggest wow, but you blammed that, so Im gonna say LOTRO, or, if failing that, AoC isnt too bad. the controls are a bit sucky and its missing some important features, But it has fun parts (Seiges, Guild towns :D
