I never watched anime (except Pokemon as a kid) until 2 weeks ago, when I started watching Azumanga Daioh. It's very funny and weirdly disjointed. It's better with subtitles, but the English dub voice actors are actually pretty good.
I've also watched a couple episodes of Soul Eater, it's a good "fight anime" and pretty funny as well.

an easy and funny first time anime? Buso Renkin? as I recall it's fairly funny and it's only 26 eps or so. It's one of my fav all time anime but I haven't seen it in a while.EboMan7x said:
