If she likes Farmville and Animal Crossing, then Harvest Moon would be a good fit for her. They're simple enough, and the newer ones have story beyond the old "Make a successful farm and have a family." If you're looking for something with a more present story, the spinoff series Rune Factory would apply well as well. Also, any Harvest Moon/Rune Factory game that includes a female main character has a dress-up option.

Perhaps one of those free MMORPGs like MU Online or Last Chaos. They're simple enough.

Zelda: A Link to the Past. It is simple as it is a 2D overhead view with some nice puzzles and has hours of fun.

Pokemon! I started playing pokemon at about 6, and from the fact that she plays Animal Crossing I assume she has a handheld console of some sort.

Paper Mario for the N64 I started playing that when I was 6, heck I still play it to this day.
-Easy combat
-Simple Story
-Good Humor
-Overall Great Gameplay

A Pokemon game might be a good idea, I remember playing them when I was about 6 and they were not that complex.

Radiata Story for the PS2.
(If you think she can handle a somewhat dark turn near the middle, by which I mean the plotline going about as dark as say, the second Harry Potter movie which I would guess she has seen)

Very fun game, one of my personal faves, looks very kid friendly with cartoonish characters and has a very lighthearted sort of jazz like soundtrack (just watch the Unskippable of it's opening to see what I mean). I never thought it was very complicated or grindy (excpet right near the end or on some of the harder quests), unless she actually tries for 100% completion of course. I guess she might find it sorta hard to try and use links and give orders during some hectic fights but you dont really need to use those to play the game

Any of the "Tales of" series. Might I suggest Tales of Vesperia. It's not too complicated. Though that shouldn't deter you from showing her anything. Complication expands the mind. Don't treat her as too simple to play certain RPG's. Most of them are really simple to begin with, but maybe thats from years of experience and practice. She has to start somewhere.

Hrm... I can only think of action platformers currently, but both Kirby and Klonoa are "incredibly easy but really fun" gaming.
Klonoa may look like it tries to be more serious, but it stays around the same level as Kirby in terms of tone.

I would recomend Diablo 2 but that could be to complex. Torchlight could be a good game for her.

EDIT:

Sounds like she likes grinding in rpg (no pun intended). Like several previous posters suggest pokemon, final fantasy and dragon quest are all good game with some grinding to it. Or you can just introduce her to WoW. That thing has enough grind to pulverize diamond.

Long story short my sister became a farmville nut, and when I introduced her to a couple casual games but she felt they were lacking grind. I need a few game ideas.

She likes:
-Farmville
-Animal Crossing
-Dress-up Games

Dislikes:
-Anything overly complex

I was thinking something along the lines of an old school SNES game. Maybe Earthbound or FFIII, but I felt those might be a little too deep(for lack of a better term).
What consoles do you have available? Any of the Mario RPGs will do (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door on the gamecube being a personal favorite). They aren't grindy, but they have enough content where the grind doesn't make it a quick game.

Also...pokemon. Preferablly, Soul Silver.
