I need help identifying something I found in my yard

I found this caterpillar looking thing in my backyard and need someone to help me identify it.

No, seriously, I have no idea. But you could try to make it fight other caterpillers, and see if you can get it to increase in level. Then pupate. Then turn into a butterfly that can hurt your mind...okay, I'm getting off track here.

i dunno what it is but it looks like its wearing a sweater and i bet some weird colored goo would come out of both ends if u stepped on it. i remember where i lived in NC there were these big furry caterpillars that i used to run over with my bike and bright yellow goo would shoot out
