Celldweller has some pretty complex stuff. It's a mix of electronic and rock that works really well.

DUDE!!
Felix Cartal!!!
Holy crap, I had that at about 170 decibels just going insane!
Thanks for an awesome track!!

All the others below were great as well, you've expanded my scope....
Nice.

Got a good bass? 1:30 and your ears will cum

Atmospheric jazz, listen to with a drink, near a fireplace when it's raining. Doesn't get better than that

Animated modern classical music. I've never seen anything else like it

LEaving the best till last, Jimmey Wahlsteen. My favourite guitarist in the last 20 years, he's got an amazing playing style and he's not the most original but the way he presents his music is incredible[/quote]

I have a favor to ask of you.

I just looked through my Zune and noticed that I've only added one new album of music in about the past 4 years. I seriously, SERIOUSLY, need some new music.

So please, my fellow escapists... I need suggestions. Give me anything (I've got very broad tastes), just let me know what genre they play, if you don't mind.

Annnnnnnnnd... GO!
Hmm you say you have an eclectic taste so how do you feel about these:

Florance and the Machine from the album Lungs

La Roux from the album La Roux

Misfits from the album American Psycho

AFI from the album December Underground

Jimmy Hendrix from The Jimmy Hendrix Experence

The Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster from the album Horse of the Dog

The Bronx from the album The Bronx

Kasabian from the album Kasabian

Goldfrapp from the album Supernature

Carl Orff song is called O Fortuna from Carmina Baruna

Yeah...i've got a bit of an eclectic taste too...anyway hope you enjoy )

Well since The Decemberists has already been taken, I will recommend The Like. Their album, Release Me, is very 60s inspired in a good way.

Have you heard their first album? It's very, erm, not 60s-inspired. But just as good. I didn't even recognise them when I first heard this song.

My recommendation is always The New Pornographers. Call them whatever genre you like, though I usually go for power-pop.

Do you like to listen to Nina Simone? Try it. Try it and you may.

Try it and you may I say.
