It'll be slightly weird after you ask anyone out. The last girl I asked out was a good friend but we're still good friends a few months later. Don't worry about it.

Oh and, as said above, I'd concentrate more on school than girls. I learned that the hard way (I pretty much guaranteed a fail in GCSE German)
