Mine is just my name, short and appropriate.
However, you should take into consideration that ALOT of names are already taken, and people have to venture into the obscene territory to stake-out a certain name for themselves.

Actually I'm wondering how some players have like the 'x' button or the D-pad and different colors on their tags in MW2. There not too hard to find, but they just look dumb.

On a related note, my gamertag, which is my username with a space is often missread.

I'm often labeled as:

"CuthBORTON"
"COUTHberton"
"COUTHBORTON"
"CRUMBLEBERRY"
"CUMBUCKET"

I have had all those slung at me by people called things like "X_X-EPICZSNIPEZ-X_X"

Also, you can be sure that these are the same people who use the cannabis related titles and emblems in MW2. They are also the people who have their year of birth at the end of their names so you can see that the guy who's trash talking is actually 12.

I know how you feel with people unable to pronounce your gamertag. Mine is 'Zehrizan'. It means nothing at all and is just something I came up with after a while. It's been mispronounced so many different ways I can't even begin to count them all, but my favorite mispronunciation is that someone, somehow, found a way to put a 'T' in my name. It's the reason I prefer to go by 'Z'. Saves a lot of time.

however, i met this one guy on MW2, who me and a friend of mine (who had never seen before/after) imediatly befriended because of his GT.

it was bigprivateparts. no caps, no random letters. it is EPIC
