If you're able to get something original and rather interesting it's not that bad, but everyone tries to be sexual, or referencing something, or "cool." And they can't think of having anything different than what they originally thought so they throw some caps around, and put an X or two on either end, and some random numbers just for kicks.

I've used the name TheLawn ever since I started using the internet.

The ones that really grind my gears are the Xxsephirothxx or use horrendous misspellings of words that no one other than the guy who made it understands.

My only other name is one I use for CoD, and that's FlowerPrincess... and only because me and my friends all made girly names for that game.

I hate people that try to promote themselves with their gamertags; like xEp1cSn1p3sx or xXMLGsn1p3rXx or one of my favorites xX4ssas1nn1njaXx. They try to sound cool because they play Halo and MW2. they're usually glitchers, cheaters, Elitists who rage upon death, or 10 year olds who shouldn't be playing, trying to "blend" with the people who are.

My friends (all of which I actually know, since other people are not worth talking to on Xbox usually), have simple gamertags; Stephen444522, Killjoy282, Agaith, Yoginfruz, Derioyn, Mivholas, and others but nothing involving self promotion. One of my favorites that my friend has is Izzie Deadyet. I liked it when I first heard it.

Mines Maverick945, forgot about that. I watched Top Gun the night before and this was 3-4 years ago.

I don't really have much of a huge hatred for bad gamertags, unless they are so wholly unoriginal that I have to say something. Though names like "J3rk Coff" and "Rochelle suk cok" whom I had the misfortune of playing with on L4D 2 once, they were total dicks and their names were just...retarded.
