Pro-tip: Xbox live is full of sociopathic trolls and Microsoft practically encourages anti-social behaviour on their network as I have never heard of any mods or admins or any equivalent laying down the law.

That's the thing about dedicated servers, there is always an admin around to ban-hammer some troll who is being an asshat to everyone and often you can see them coming with their user names. Though on PC you can get away with a lot

Personal experience with user names on PC games like TF2 I still use my "Treblaine" handle only when people are calling on me to do something (like engie asking for covering fire while setting up a sentry) about half of them have a really hard time pronouncing Treblaine.

They say "hey treuuu- tral-ban? Taliban? Just help me guard this point"

And I have it written in clear text: Treblaine... not Treb1@ine or anything like that.

I've used the name TheLawn ever since I started using the internet.

The ones that really grind my gears are the Xxsephirothxx or use horrendous misspellings of words that no one other than the guy who made it understands.

My only other name is one I use for CoD, and that's FlowerPrincess... and only because me and my friends all made girly names for that game.
