Most Gamertags are pretty aweful. But some are pure gold, like micjacksonsghost or scootypuffjnr. Mine is Rozza88 (pronounced Roz-zer ... as in the slang for policeman), but (sorry for painting most of you with the same brush) Americans keep calling me Roser.

Pro-tip: Xbox live is full of sociopathic trolls and Microsoft practically encourages anti-social behaviour on their network as I have never heard of any mods or admins or any equivalent laying down the law.

Well I have now. This is why I will not be renewing my Xbox Live Gold Membership and I only got it in the first place because I got a voucher of Three Months.

Terms of Use and the inevitable abuse are 100% bullshit and one of the many reasons I prefer online gameplay with PC and dedicated servers. Yes you may get kicked by an admin who simply doesn't like you for your skill (but that has happened to me only once in years of online gaming) though those dedicated servers quickly decline in popularity and it is only one server you are kicked from not the entire game and all the games on your system.

I also have to wonder why this is not such a problem on PS3's Network? Sony has struck me as detached at times but they are certainly professional and rigorous where it just seems that they don't give rednecks like The Pro any power. They also seem to strike the balance between serving the consumer and preserving the community.

My brother comes up to me the other day. His friends have a "clan" and they change their names to "i Xo". Anyway he comes up to me asking for me to buy microsoft points for him to change MY gamertag to "i Ratty Xo"(Ratty's the family nickname. My dad was Ratty and I was Little Ratty. Then he stopped using the nickname and I became Ratty and my brother then was supposed to be Little Ratty but he jumped the queue straight to Ratty).
I wouldn't mind if 1) I use my nickname(Ratty) as often as he does. 2)If I actually liked his friends, who are a bunch of fags who play nothing but search and destroy.

I like my PSN ID, Jumplion is simple, original, doesn't sound like something a drunked up stoner made, and I've had it for years.

It started when I used to play Runescape, I stupidly used my real name as a username and when someone said "Hey [username]" I didn't know if they meant me or the character in the game. So I got my dad to make a new account and he just typed "Jumplion"

I don't understand why people insist on the stupid fucking x's prefixing and suffixing their gamertag. It looks childish and sorta emo if I may venture so far as to say that.

I named myself BlackHeartKing after my faourite Gallows song. It was taken so I put an x at the beginning to stand for Xbox, since that was what I was playing on. I kept it as xBlackHeartKing for PSN because pBlackHeartKing sounded even worse.
