I hated the King Kong game. I don't care if its the "best movie game" - it was a waste of 30 pounds and I will swear to myself that I wont buy another movie game ever again. Same goes for The Golden Compass (which I DIDN'T BUY) on the DS. Piece of sh*t.

Best movie game?
That title goes to Spiderman 2 and Wolverine Origins.
It was off of the games review in some qauint little gaming magazine I bought when I was REALLY bored. But you did remind me of Spiderman 2, which despite the fact I have a 360, I still fish out my old PS2 just to play that game. Yes, that was actually quite a Good FUN game

Telekenesis The Rabbit & wait for the kid to catch up - if you think that is hard you just wait for the bit after that!

OT: Guildwars - I just cannot enjoy it!

Far Cry 2, admittedly I got it for free but it still sucked horribly. I could've got Fallout 3 for free instead.

Also Medal of Honor European Assault, it would have been a dissapointing Christmas that year if I didn't get Battlefront 2 as well.

Not me, but I saw someone buy a ragged copy of Final Fantasy VI on PS1 for £40 from a market stall, and obviously didn't notice it was missing a disc when I looked at it earlier.

Jaws Unleashed. As much as I like tearing pixels to bits, that's ALL there were was to do after you finish the main story. The things I would do to the little pixelated people to keep myself entertained just a little longer would probably land me on Interpol if I did so in real life.

Probably Rise Of The Argonauts.

Pretty shit game, not to mention I bought it over Fallout 3.

That still stings

I'm astounded at how many people continuously gripe and moan about a game they bought without actually thinking about it. Most of the titles in these threads (for this is very much a repeat thread, one almost as common as a bloody news post) are really low-quality games that they paid actual money for, and are then, shockingly, disappointed when the game turns out to be less than, say, mediocre. Suck it up, ya'll. Sell it off to some poor schmuck or gamestore for a few cred, then get something actually worth getting. Like Spore. Bought it, played it, was horribly dissatisfied, so I sold it to a friend for ten dollars less than I bought it for, and bought something else. Make your mistakes, learn your mistakes, then fix your mistakes. If not...well, you can always keep bitching on pointlessly ranty threads.

If anyone could help me out on this one, WITHOUT acting like a snarky asshole, I would be very grateful.
no help here. i loved that game until the last level. i quit after realizing that my ps2 probably would not survive my fury if i continued any longer. i still consider it a great game and simply choose to pretend that i finished the game and that last level simply never existed

Some PS2 game, Special Forces or something. I spent about 5 minutes with it 'cause it was ridiculously hard.

P.S: Someone did a thread REALLY like this just yesterday called "Why did I buy this?" or something along those lines.

My last regretted gaming purchase was Dragon Age: Origins. I lost interest in it after 10-20 hours.

I agree. That was the first MMO i ever played. I bought every single game and it was rather fun at the start. But cause it was my first MMO it was so goddamn annoying. I remember my first time reaching Lvl. 20 in that game. PVP was horrible and my account just got removed by no reason. Feels like ive wasted 2 years of my life.

Edit: But i might actually buy Guild Wars 2.

for me it has to have been borderlands AND I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH "YOU" LOVE IT because the game was an absolute chore for me that never improved and by the time i reached the end of the story and found out the big hooplah at the vault i nearly threw the game at the wall

who is more annoying, the people complaining about shitty games they bought, or the person who goes to a thread, knowing full well what its about, just to make fun of the people posting there? it was obviously about games people bought that they wish they hadnt, if you dont like the topic then why even click the link? its like people on facebook who join groups just to make fun of the people who are in said group, its utterly pointless
