Infinite Undiscovery - Eh where to begin, the story was .... well BLEH is the best way to say it i guess, the control system was clunky and unresponsive and the voice acting....squeeky and planted urges in my head about filling my ears with silly putty in protest X_x Not to mention the main character has as much depth as a piece of paper -__-
Gah, ninja'd! I didn't get past the first 2 hours before questioning my purchase, haven't traded it in though, cos, you know.. Square! I will attempt to try and play it again at some point (after Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2, White Knight Chronicles................)

modern warfare 2 and operaftion flashpoint: dragon rising. i would like dragon rising if my team (AI) had any brain cells because they are such huge retards i cant progress and modern warfare 2 was possibly the biggest letdown ever
my team keep gettin themselves killed leaving me to fight off 35 enemies with 2 ammo clips

The Prince of Persia Epilogue (on PS3 for me). Such a waste of $10. It was only an extra 2 or so hours of content and it didn't answer any of the hanging questions left from the game. I seriously considered writing the Ubisoft corporate offices and demanding a refund.

I regret paying money for UFC 2009 Undisputed. Me and my older brother played the demo non stop from the day we downloaded it until we bought the game on the release date. We then played the game for like a week or two after that and never touched it again. I only payed for half of it and still wish I didn't.

EDIT: 700th post! Wooooooooooooooo!

Prototype was awesome.
I thought it was every bit as frustrating as the final level in psychonauts.
It can get annoying sometimes, but just roaming around the city with the amazing platforming more than makes up for.
It was basically the Hulk game with a few more powers. It plays EXACTLY the same, right down to the buttons in some cases.

I'm not joking. Hulk had half of those powers in his game.

ITT people with too much money.

I bought Baldurs gate series - not regretting even a sigle penny
I bought free space 2 - worth it's money
I bought half life 2 and tf 2 - good choices.

Other than that - well, internet is my friend so my biggest regret was wasting a week of my downloading time. From that viewpoint, I'm only not sure if MW2 was a good "time investment".

Oh! Oh! I know! I regret NOT buying AvP2 - a brilliant game.

I usually research the hell out of whatever I'm planning on buying so I have very few games I really regret. However, I do have two.

Grand Theft Auto 4: This started out as a good buy, but I eventually lost interest. If it hadn't been for the whole staying friends with everyone thing, I probably would have been able to finish it. As it was, I ended up trading it in for Prototype.

Auto Assault: Post-Apocalyptic mmo where people drive around shooting each other. How could you screw that up? With bad graphics, poor controls, bad servers, and very limited means to communicate with other players. A rare case where I fell for the hype. I couldn't even trade it in after I found it sucked. Nowadays, I make sure to either get into the beta or a free trial before signing up for an MMO. Lesson learned I guess.

Oh, I would be here for ages listing everything I regret. I've learned though that a good sleep will set your mind at ease, to some extent.

Nearly bought Rogue Warrior off steam until my friend slapped me across the back of my head and told me how much it sucked.

Sacred 2, an ARPG lacking any sort of redeemable qualities in my eyes. My (hopefully) one and only full priced game bought on a whim.

modern warfare 2 for me they just didn't bother to add anything good to the game.
one thing that really gets up my nose is the fact that people moaned about left 4 dead 2 when they changed like over 500% more then mw2 did and they also did it all in a year, while mw2 didn't add anything new interesting and anything they did add barely even works.

who else agrees that kill streaks have ruined hardcore and are also making all the flaws from the last game even worse?

3)the Wii;

Do I really need to explain this?*

And to make it worse, I can't sell it because my family uses it as well.

[sub/][sub/][sub/]*I will not explain it, no matter how much you ***** and moan[/sub][/sub][/sub]
I hate you and blah blah a bunch of stuff about your mom*

*No I won't explain why I feel the need to insult your mother!

Please, put down the flamethrower. Do you see the point I was making there? Yes, anytime you categorically rail on something or someone, you need to explain it. Otherwise, we can assume all kinds of wacky reasons why you don't like it. I personally love my Wii, in part BECAUSE only a half dozen decent games are released for it every year (I have a career and a sex life, thank you very much). And I loved Galaxy and am eagerly awaiting the sequel.

Didn't the metacritic rating jump out as a huge warning? :p
