Turning point: fall of liberty. I just couldn't believe that in the year it came out they had produced something of such low quality and variety. I've tried to go back and beat it several times but it just drives me insane.

Nope I just didn't care for the controls and the new 3D look they were going for, Capcom's Rival School 2. was 3D had an in depth combos and counters and at least in my opinion should've been the standard for Capcoms future fighting games. I played online a bit but the lag just made it even more of a bore. I played with friends but the game itself just wasn't fun enough to keep around.Space Spoons said:Twilight Princess. There's no doubt that it could have been a very solid Zelda title, but because it's cursed with being on the Wii, nearly every aspect of the game's control scheme is deliberately obtuse to the point of being distracting for me. I've owned the game since launch and have yet to beat it. Occasionally, I'll pop it in, in the vain hope that I was exaggerating before. I end up giving up every single time, because the controls are just that bad.
I've been tempted to buy the Gamecube version, but I can't help but think it'll be a little like rubbing salt in the wound, because it would only emphasize that next-gen Zelda games with good controls are possible, but we're never going to get another again.
Also, it was very, very brown. I take my Zelda bright and colorful, thanks.
Just want to say, if you think beating the CPU is the point of fighting games, SFIV in particular, you're doing it wrong.gphjr14 said:So far this gen Street Fighter 4, beat and owned it almost a month before throwing it up on ebay.
Okay yeah it wasn't the BEST game out there, I wouldn't even call it great just good. I think Other M was a good game, good and no better. Yeah the exploration was bare, but the atmosphere was acceptable. Characterization is a YMMV so I'm not even gonna argue about that.LordNue said:SNIP*
Honestly action IN a metroid game could work. There was just no reason they had to strip out the exploration and atmosphere, characterize samus so terrible (she's basically just sakamoto's wet dream now, right down to being an impossibly proportioned anime girl) and then half ass the action gameplay. It's especially annoying since the made this a main game, a canon game that takes more precedence over the Prime games which were infinitely better and more metroidy despite being in an entirely different perspective.
