I feel like one of the only ones my age who played Hale: Combat Evolved before H2 or H3...Maybe it was because I was 7? Me and my friend use to play the hell out of it.

Mass Effect 2! As a shooter, it was FAR superior to Mass Effect 1 though the planetary scanning was way less fun than driving around on planetary surfaces and the scope and flexibility of stat progression was inferior. On balance, I have to say I preferred no.2 though - no.1 was way too ropey in terms of combat which felt tight and satisfying in no.2.

Ya know I can't remember playing the sequel before the original, I am a bit anal like that if a sequel comes up I wanna play I normally make a point of playing the first one... first... yeh.
Unless it's the sort of sequel that doesn't matter, like a Mario game or something like that.

Played COD4 before I played any other Call of Duty game. In order, I have played: COD4, COD:WAW. COD:MW2, COD1 ( the 360 port that came as a bonus with MW2).

I also have played Mechwarrior 2 and 4, but never 1 or 3.

I played Fallout 2 (for about ten minutes before getting bored, back when it was new), then played Fallout 3. I've never played the original Fallout.

Monkey Island 2 before Monkey Island 1.

Dead or Alive 2, then 4, before I played 3 or 1. Soul Calibur 2 and 3, never the original.

I played KOTOR 2 before KOTOR. The experience was....interesting. Playing through KOTOR 2 again with the backstory provided by the first is much better.

So did I. Luckily at the time I was a stupid little shit and still didn't cotton on to the big twist in the first. I've no idea how I didn't.

I also played Deus Ex: Invisible War first, which makes me one of the few who likes both games (proves it's a good game in its own right, just not as a Deus Ex game).

I also played No One Lives Forever 2 first. I have the first one, but it doesn't work.
