I have a really clueless aquaintance.
He speaks only in absolutes unherited from his parents and teachers.
He is way too narrow minded on every subject to apply these absolutes appropriately.
Therefore he throws about blanket statements about everything that simply do not apply, because not everything is black and white and he can't seem to think for himself.
So a stand there smiling, and I try my best to get through to him but it's hard.

Actually that is not an entirely inaccurate statement. I don't really believe that his policy is really a good one, that being "throw money at a problem until it goes away" however that doesn't really work. It just exchanges the current problem with a horrid defecit problem, as we have already seen. This applies to the healthcare reform, which as much as it might help those in need, it is not the kind of thing that America needs nor is suited for at this time; as well as the trillions of dollars of bailout money that didn't even work, and to a lesser extent the cash for clunkers program, which doesn't look like it is working very well from the news I am watching. What America really needs is economic reform, however I don't mean socialism. I am talking more about enticing small business to employ new workers and penalizing companies that move jobs out of the country.DrunkWithPower said:
