I think Bethseda are screwing with us now. Possible Skyrim spoilers.

So what are the werewolf rules; do you only transform in the light of a full moon (implying some kind of lunar cycle added to the game) or can you pretty much go all furry any time you want?

Can Khajiit become werewolves? If so, a man-sized tiger werewolf fighting a dragon may be the most awesome thing immortalized by mankind.
once a day + anytime, anywhere you want. guards will attack you.

And I'm guessing silver weapons do increased damage to you?

I already know I am going to sound like a giant fucking asshole but could you refrain from posting actual info on this topic. I only posted this for the speculation and also because I though it might not be in the actual game. What your posting isn't very spoilage but still is something that people need to find out themselves. Sorry again for being a asshole.

Man, I wanna be a Werebadger! Werebadgers are badass. People can hate on them but the werebadger doesn't give a shit. You knock them down they just get back up, they don't care. They're so badass.

But I guess I'll manage with werewolfs... Sigh...

I think they wanted werewolves but ran out of time and couldn't put it in (which is why they always changed topic when asked about them as they wanted to get them in but at the end of the day couldn't.) It does make it likly that we will have a dlc that has werewolves.

Werewolves have already been confirmed not to be in Skyrim because they didn't have time to perfect them. But, it is commonly believed that they will feature in an expansion.

It would be nice to be a werewolf again, I really enjoyed it. It made me feel a lot more badass than being a vampire.

But sadly, I think they're going to use that mechanic to pad out some DLC... Sigh.

I will mod in Werebadgers, Weredragons, and Werepyres (Vampire + Werewolf).

If it works out well enough, i intend to post it on Planet Elder Scrolls, and if i don't, more than likely, someone else will. So worry not, and keep in mind, half the fun of TES games are the crazy-awesome things you can mod in.

I bet the werewolf you see and possibly a temporary transformation of yourself will be for a cool side quest, but only that. It would be really cool if it worked throughout the game like vampirism, though.

You would think that all these pirates could get a capture card with all that money they're saving. Y'know, instead of giving us ugly shakycam pictures.

Meanwhile, werewolves? Awesome! On one condition: that the transformation can be made to happen willingly. As in, only when I want it to happen, not only once a month. And that it's curable at any time.
Why do you think they pirate? No money.

Pfft, werewolves are wusses.

Werebadgers on the other hand...

Werewolves are lower than a badger's badger.
At least they were better than Wereboars!

Uh, What?
That sounds pretty cool. I'm going to get Skyrim as my first game in the Elder Scrolls series, as It looked good and I wanted to play one. Although I might have to choose between that and Arkham city.

If its real, and after reading that news post, then this is probably one of the early DLC for the Xbox version.
*looks at pictures, has Xbox controller tooltips*

Well, Bethesda have outright lied about Skyrim before. I remember early in 2010 they said that there were no plans for a new Elder Scrolls game, but Skyrim's been in development since before Oblivion's launch.
Before Oblivion's launch?

That's around 5 years of development time, imagine the possibilites....

dang it! now I've even more hyped! with 9 days to go...

anyway, being about to turn into a werewolf would indeed be pretty cool, add the Vampire thing that's being put in, and you could very well have a Werewolf Vampire Viking Wizard Thief Assassin Dragonborn fighting dragons.

though I suspect Bethesda might ad few things to make the Werewolf transformation more balanced, like having villagers be hostile, or negate your Dragon Shouts while in the transformation, or something like that.
