I Think I Know Exactly Why People Hate Midi-chlorians

Sir if you have a thread that people are aware of already. There's threads about this. There are videos about this (redlettermedia). You didn't even make this into a disussion. Very poor work on your part. I also don't like your responses it lacks tact and respect.

You'd lose respect too if thousands of other people just come in here and say, "ALREDY BEEEN DUN, LOZER!1!1!111!" multiple times.

In my opinion saying that "midi-chlorians did it" is no more a scientific or even psuedo-scientific explanation than "a wizard did it".

Really all midi-chlorians provide is a means to measure Force sensitivity (essential to Episode I's plot remember) and a convenient way to hand-wave Force cancellation technology and the Yuuzhang Vong being completely "Force dead".

See, I think the Force can still be that mysterious, magical source of power.

The midichlorians aren't the Force, they just explain why some people can tap into it and others can't. More midichlorians, higher Force-sensitivity.

Also, a random theory I have: midichlorian count increases when passed from a parent to a child. Think about it, what do Kyle Katarn, Galen Marek, and Luke Skywalker all have in common? They're all insanely powerful, and they all had JEDI PARENTS. (I haven't gotten that far in the book series yet, but I'm lead to believe that the Solo kids aren't exactly weaklings, either.)

Surely it's not assumed that they all came from non jedi. I mean, the jedi were still alive and well and populace at this time.

But alright, if they just go around searching okay. It seemed like Jedi knights were at least celibate so perhaps nevermind?
