Well you shouldn't have a pink pillowcase, makes you look gay, otherwise just get a girlfriend and make sure your parents catch you doing the deed with her

or let your parents catch you milking yourself to lesbian porn.

Are you gay? If not, just put on some girl-on-girl porn on your computer. And crank the speakers up nice and loud. Then when they walk in mortified they might get the message.
You have just won the internet!
I'm.. more or less straight, and I've done that plenty of times. I love the reactions!
Is it funnyier than putting on 2 girls 1 cup for your entire family XD. They thought it was a bit tame :D

Bring the hottest girl round that you can reasonably pull.
That will shut them up.

Otherwise just chill, who cares what they think. You are your own person and eventually they will stop misinterpreting your likes and dislikes.
it would be even better if they though he gay and he did this.

..That is just terrible, sir. Terrible.

At least it wasn't the one guy 1 jar thing. I only had to read the description, before I set that one clean off my plate for ever even considering touching.

You're 20?

You sound about 13 - get over it, your mum's only messing about. And a pink pillow with an anime girl is hardly going to be something your dad can understand if he's anything like anyone else's dad, ever.

Hell, the pillow thing is a little strange...

Twilight is a love story, watching it isn't gay in the slightest.
I kind of want to see New Moon.

Anyway, just ignore it until something big happens.
I dunno... a bit maybe?

I mean I think I'd question the sexuality of any girl that every actually played Dead or Alive: Extreme Volleyball.

Now I've been wondering this for a while now and I think my parents think I'm gay, or there's something wrong with me. Tonight my dad had brought over my brothers stuff from my brothers old place, when he left I think he was eyeing my pink pillow case with an anime girl on it. If you must know, it is from the "Record of Agarest War" collectors edition and I only got the game for the collectors edition (I'm crazy about these things) but he was eyeing it for longer then then just looking at it, he also had a certain look on his face, almost like a look of disgust.

Now my mother, while I was in her room talking to her, a Twilight Eclipse commercial came on the TV and she said "Look *insert my name here* it's your favorite show" now...why would she say that? That's not even funny, it just...FUCK it makes me so angry, I fucking hate when people make jokes about that, it's in bad taste and not funny (I fucking hate that series) so why would she do this??? Last but not least she has made two fat jokes about me recently....and I'm not even fat.

So my question is what should I do? Should I talk to them about this or just grin and bear it and have my paranoid mind put thoughts into my head? Also what do you think of parents who judge their own kids?
Of course your parents will judge you if you have a pink pillow case, they prolly don't think you're gay.. just a bit girly. Also, I laughed at the joke, it was a very relevant joke to make. Just laugh it off.

It's probably just good natured ribbing.

I'm the eldest of 3 boys, both my little brothers (15 and 18) have girlfriends, and I've had more girlfriends (that lasted more than 4 months) than both of them combined. But given the fact I'm 20, still living at home due to being at uni, single and spend alot of time playing video games, I get all the gay jokes.

Of course this is helped by the fact mum bought me a pair of skinny jeans as a joke...then bought me more because for some reason skinny little white nerdy guys look good in them.

tl;dr your parents love you anyway, take it as the joke its probably meant as or grow a pair and tell them to back off

Because every guy needs to have a f*cking shotgun named Pamela on their pillow, amirite mr Manly man?
Look, people will be judged in whatever they do. It's just how the world is. If you wear cat-girl ears then you will be judged, if you play DnD you will be judged, if you play WoW you will be judged, if you are a male and have a pink anime pillow case at the age of 20 you will be judged. The best way around it is to ignore what people think of you, and they'll get over it eventually.. in most cases they're just going to give a few odd looks and some jokes then get on with it.

I don't know if thats good advice. I think its the people that don't care what people think of them that most often should. The impression that people get of you I think is just as important as who you "really are" because no matter what you are like inside, its the you that gets projected that will affect your standing in life. Personally, I'd rather go around dressed as some sortof hybrid of a tramp and a nerd, but I know that that won't exactly give off a great first impression, so I make sure I'm always well groomed and dress fairly sharp for the occaision. Sometimes I make myself go out when I would rather stay in reading or watching TV, but I don't because I don't want to be seen as anti-social or a bore.
Thats not to say that you shouldn't do certain things, but you just have to realise the social consequences of doing these things and have to put in a certain amount of work to compensate for it. Noone would give a shit about your anime pillow case if you slept with real girls occaisionally.

Also... noone said we need to have things that constantly validate our masculinity. However, the pillowcase might as well have "please don't sleep with me on it", because 95% of girls would (and in my opinion, should) avoid a guy with it like the plague.

This is going to sound mean but I only intend to be helpful. Liking anime is ok but get rid of the anime girl pillow and anime girl figurines and posters if you have those too. That stuff makes you look like a creepy pervert that's given up on real women. At least be able to hide that stuff if you actually get a real girl in your room. I'm not saying you're any of those things, but that's what it looks like to someone else.

I'm sure your parents do stuff you can make fun of them for, you're 20 so you're an adult it's ok to treat your parents as equal and less like parents. Better yet move out.

That'll fucking shit them up ;D

I wore cat girl ears for a week or so after going out as a cat and I never really felt judged. I found more curious smiles sent my way rather than hateful judgment.

Of course I'm sure people where talking behind my back.
