Well, many people thought going north would increase their chances of survival during the Zombie War but this turned out horribly wrong. While the cold did stop the zombies who froze, the survivors quickly ran out of gas (leaving them stranded) or food (which forced many into cannibalism...ironically). Check out the book "Zombie Surivival Handbook", it's by the same author as "World War Z", those have good tips on how to not only survive and defend but also tips and tricks on how to go on the offensive against your undead foes.

OT, I've noticed a military jet overhead in Calgary today, but I though nothing of it. Marter's right, though; Canada must be going after Arizona so we can get back our hockey team, and maybe we could also drag the Diamondbacks kicking and screaming to Calgary.

Calgary happens to have several hundred active and many off-duty military members in it, since it's a right wing city. I didn't really think anything of it. Perhaps it's out of the ordinary that the army has a recruiting booth in my school, I live within a block of a cadets training camp, and my homeroom teacher from last year is an active member of the military.

I don't think I've ever seen a tank or armoured personnel carrier in Calgary.
