I was on a road trip with my family once. We were parked at a gas station and I had elected to remain in the car whilst my family was in the convenience store when out of nowhere a motherfucking M1A1 (I think, I didn't have time to get an exact make) tank in desert camo crossed my field of vision. My family appeared not to believe me when I later told of this event.

on my way to work, saw two Abrams (jungle camo. paint job) on the side of the road being transported and a hum-v driving down I-10. Jacksonville Florida.

and yes that is just today.

LOTS of helicopters have been through here, lately, and I swear to god I saw a UAV fly overhead one day. I live an hour or so away from Hamilton so I guess it isn't that weird but still, I was ready to run for cover in case of a Predator launch being detected.

OT: the closest to any military manouveres I have seen is when I went down to the local Military base, the only major one in the south Island.

We see helicoptors all the time, but they're usually news helicopters or police helicopters(I think)

However, recently I saw an APC tank, along with a military grade hummer driving down the road. And just now as I walked outside I saw a stealth bomber fly over my house! Are the russians finally invading!

Umm discussion, right...have any of you guys seen an increase in the military personel in your city. Or do you think im just being paranoid

There's been quite a bit of movement in the Kansas City area as well.

Well, whenever there's a bomb here in Ireland, or a large bank transfer, you'll usually see soldiers on the street. I once saw 5 tanks refueling at a petrol station. That was pretty funny.

It's not as prominent as Northern Ireland though.

I would've figured there'd only be suspicious military activity in Ireland when there wasn't a bomb threat. Otherwise, it's just Tuesday.

I see Chinooks and F-16's fly overhead really low pretty often. Sometimes some Apache's in formation as well and during summer times you can see F-16's dogfighting overhead. Pretty awesome, living under an airforce practice area.

Yep! There was one a few miles from me a week or so ago. I heard it, saw the smoke and all!

I think it was a controlled explosion though, not the bomb itself going off.

This just in: controlled explosion in Ireland. The IRA refuses to admit that explosions can be controlled, and that all efforts to control the explosion will be staved off in due time by the proud Irish people.

ummmm I am just gonna come out and say how do you see a STEALTH bomer from what I had heard was those things only took off from remote bases(like edwards) and once they were up they like stayed above cloud level my theory is it has something to do with the immigration but i doubt they would call in stealth bombers.

I live in New Zealand, so the presence of any army what so ever would likely be a surprise. In fact, if I see a single German soldier in uniform I'm simply gonna assume we've been conquered. =]
