Its seem to be very devoid of scottish people.
I am born and bred scottish. Live in Bonnybridge almost the most center you can get of scotland.
Now I am very nice. I am personaly weird. That isnt a scottish thing. The folk you met are total arseholes. I bet they were big football fans and such.
I am a complete geek. Which its kind of rare around here. I have geek friends and such but my god the amount of neds/chavs is stupid. We are a population if 5 million. Its pretty small compared when London is 10million on its own.
So i blame out small population and the natural majority of people being arseholes. Its realy is a stupid amount. I have punk friends and goth friends and such and they are far more awsome than the usal person youll meet around here.
Hanging out with punks there is people out there with racist and nazi veiws. Except its only one person out of 15. Had a argument with a nazi punk in the toilets of a gig which another punk joined in on my side. Basicly came down to Hitler was upset he was left for dead in world war 1 blamed the jewish people. And the world would have been better place if hitler had gotten into art school.
I dont know about relgion? every i know are heathens. In other words Agonistich or Atheist.
I am an intellgient person (dyslexic if you judge my sentences) and i come to Athiesm. And for Sexism. I am a very strong feminist. I was soo strong a feminist i realy strongly hated men.
Infact i am currently haveing a hard time accepting a male friend of mines going out with a female friend. As the main thing that makes him at all intrested is he can have sex with her.
Its up to her to let him ofcourse, and she isnt. Except he instantly put her on that list moments of meeting and i dont like it. I suppose maby too much feminism and careing for my friend.

actually they were nerdish halo fans. one was a heavy metal emo who LOVED slipknot. now i dont have a problem with that at all but wheni said i didnt really like the band he threw a huge hissy fit. the other one who was a nazi was swearing at me and making sexist comments when i was kicking his as in a sword fight.Akyho said:

The other half was filled with haveing a 6 month contract to work there. I was pretty much assistant mananger when i was volunteering. Pretty much was assistant manager when i was hired. And with any luck the upcoming Job interveiw i shall be Assistant manager at a diffrent charity shop. Looking good. and oh god the 6months in my first job as a sales assitant at a DIY shop kind of gives me help with colours...aswell as wallpapers and paint if you ever needed help.
I love costumers interacting and helping them. I get regulars that ask for me and somtimes wont shop unless i am helping them. I hope to get them back if i get the new job.

Anyway, point it there are arseholes everywhere who are going to give you a hard time about your gaming skills or other stuff based on race, gender and religion. Like every other place you find these types in the civilized world though, they tend to be the noisy minority. They also tend to be not worth getting worked up about.
The only thing I would add, is that judging the rest of us based on a few bad eggs - well, that's surely doing the very thing you are complaining about? And then they win - can't have that now, can we?
