There are laws against this.

I don't think I'd make it past a week due to government regulations.

Damn my marketing studies ruining the fun of killing kids.
Of course there are laws against it. Note my hypothetical situation disclaimer =P

if you are willing to run an advertising campaign aimed at kids for cigarrettes. One out of every ten kids that see any of these advertisements will end up becoming addicted. Subsequently, they will die due because of their habits.

Are you willing to take the job? Why or why not?

(This is purely hypothetical, I'm just curious as to how many people would actually take money over lives of their fellow men/women)
I'd look the man/woman in the eye, say no, and walk out of the building and use a concoction of %30 Newton's Second Law of motion and %70 irony to make that person die of lung cancer for even thinking that.
...That is win.

Well I'm unemployed and have been for a while; I live with my grandparents because I can't afford my own place; I smoke when I'm drinking, which is quite often, so I'd have to say fuck yes. Not to seem cold but I fucking need the money you know?

kinda sad how 1 outta every 10 kids are idiots, but oh well.
Idiots? Or without parental guidance to show them the ill-effects of smoking? Nobody said the commercials told them anything about lung cancer.
ahem, it said I run the damn advertising campaign. Also its illegal now to advertise things without listing in some way the "side effects" of the product. Like death. Also, there are other ways to learn that smoking is bad for you, unless they live under a rock. which it never said they did.

While I'm against kids smoking you'd have to pay me 10 million a year to get me out of my moral code.
Why yes, I don't have a heart.

Fuck dat shit,

That is so not worth it
Why not?
The guilt that i would feel for potential killing hundreds of kids, and the emotional grief that the family's would have gone through because of my campaign.

What you are saying then is that one in ten kids is dumb enough to do something their parents, media, studies and the like has warned them against constantly? You wanna stop that? Think of it as an idiot cleansing. One that I would be more than happy (for $2 million a year) to take part in.

Screw. That. Crap.
I'm sorry, but no amount of money in the world will buy me out of my moral code.
Indeed. I hate smoking. Fuck this man and his death-dealing company.

EDIT: Or, you know...

Why yes, I will take your job.

I will do so because I support truth in advertising.

Opening shot - pan across a playground, clusters of children lighting up and talking about... whatever the fuck they talk about these days.

Cut to a shot of the same kids dragging around oxygen tanks and flipping through hospital "transplant denied" forms.

Another shot, the children aged somewhat, the group is smaller, some are smoking through tracheotomy holes, others are coughuing and retching up black tar-like spittle.

Fade to black. Words fade in. "LIGHT UP YOU LITTLE FUCKERS!" Fade back to black.
...this.

No.

NEVER.

Only because I'm asthmatic and would be happy if smoking was permanently banned for everyone.

Sure why not. I am not forcing the kids to smoke, they will die anyways, and all I am doing is pointing out the "positive" aspects of smoking, like it makes you look cool and gives you a shitload of friends. Seriously don't be a pussy, light that shit up man.

This many people would be able to turn down that amount of money? You could work 2 years(or even just one with proper budgeting) and your family would never have to worry about anything ever again...granted they don't get addicted to cigarrettes that you've campaigned for.

I feel a quote from Yahtzee fits my response hear rather nicely.
Short Answer: No
Long Answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

You know how Pinnochio has a Cricket for a conscience? Well mine's Chuck Norris...and he's pissed. In layman's terms, this mean I have a rather heavy conscience and I couldn't live with the knowledege of ending the lives of many kiddies for petty cash.
