Eh, not the same. I mean, mods are great (I am a modder), but simply owning the disk would be awesome.eddielovato said:what bout marrowblivion?Pimppeter2 said:I'll go with Morrowind
Why? Because it's freaking Morrowind.
What I mean is the class choice system, and spell system (maybe some tweaks). They could add in an entirely new story, and as long as I got to pick my standard Warrior, Thief, White Mage, and Black Mage team at the start I'd be happy. I just liked the combat system. Remake it to look like FF XII or something, and carry on from there.PopeJewish said:seriously? When was the last time you played FF1? It's SUPER dated by today's standards. Painfully slow, no story, and a terrible grindfest. It's really hard to go back and play that gameVilcus said:The very first Final Fantasy, remade with current generation technology (the graphical polish of today's games with the gameply of the original). I don't know why, but I've always wanted to see this happen.
What the ...what the y,you can't just suggest Mutant League Football!!! What a self centered SOB you are! ....Mutant League Hockey too, c'mon man! Go for the whole series! Hoorah!PopeJewish said:Mutant League Football. 'nuff said
I'll have to go here. There are soo many modern (production value wise) flight sims out there from WW2 and beyond, but still no proper Star Wars one. Why doesn't Lucas see the gold in this? I mean he is making a decent number of crappy Star Wars games as of late, but is afraid this one wouldn't sell?Iwata said:TIE Fighter

There is a mod that allows you to play in Morrowind with Oblivion's graphics. You can't do quests or anything, but it does exist if that's all you really want.Paulie92 said:Same thing I thought when I saw this thread! They wouldn't have to change much, just graphics, perhaps touch up the conversation system and make the controls a little less clunky *drools*Pimppeter2 said:I'll go with Morrowind

It's Morrowwind not Marrowwind. I'm a bit touchy here cause my last name is Morrow, and people for some reason love saying Marrow, even though its a damn O and not an A. That's projected at all the people who butcher my last name, not you.Pimppeter2 said:Eh, not the same. sorry, I'm an american, hockey just ain't my thing. But I wouldn't mind a relaunch of the whole Mutant League series, hell throw a soccer or basketball game in there, too. Just give me awesome arcade-style sports games with the ability to kill people, replace the ball with explosives, and maul the refs if I so choose.Snotnarok said:What the ...what the y,you can't just suggest Mutant League Football!!! yea the space combat game genre as a whole needs to be revived. I like the trade-based ones, too, such as the X series, Freelancer, the EV series, etc.obisean said:I'll have to go here. I second this whole heartily. Why make a remake when they could put all that effort into making a new game.canadamus_prime said:Nonononononononononononono! NO REMAKES! Esp. if graphics are your only motivation for wanting a remake. Unless you can come up with better reasons then that for remakes, go play the originals you shallow knobs!
The only one of those I tried was the X series, but I was turned off too quick due to the complexity. I mean, yes, I would have eventually figured it out, but I didn't feel the time necessary was worth the investment. I could be wrong though, for all I know I would have spent 10000 hours playing it, but now I won't since I didn't bother to learn it.PopeJewish said:yea the space combat game genre as a whole needs to be revived.
