I sometimes feel that women don't want to date me because to short or look too weak.

While usually, attraction is a case-by-case bases, either extremity of height or weight is a turn off, hairy arms as well, and low intelligence keeps me away from girls. I'm not shallow, I just have preferences. Of course, this is not absolute, although heavy drinkers and any kind of smokers/drug users are a big-ass no.

I don't date "artistic" guys. You know, the scrawny, if-I-play-guitar-really-well-all-the-girls-will-love-me-type. I've done a lot of martial arts, I shoot at the range, and (obviously) play "violent" video games. I'm not super butch or anything, but the guy I'm dating has to at least be manlier than me.

I get this too. For some reason, most people seem to be under the impression that most guys find blonds super-attractive... Personally I am not swung either way (Even though my Girlfriend is blond, I'm not particularly biased) I actually prefer redheads in general. Dunno why though...

There was a girl at our university. I liked her, she liked me, and we were getting along great (up to the weird point where I called her cat by his correct name. Granted, "Nero", for a black cat wasn't that unusual). Then one evening she said that I was totally her type of guy, and she liked hanging out with me, but for more, I were too tall. I've never heard that before...

As for me... I think I have pretty fair standards physically. She shouldn't be... "wider" than me I guess, and not actually repulsive (If you've ever seen "Lexx", I guess I'd draw the line about halfway between pre-Lusticon Zev, and post-Lusticon Zev)

I'm pretty neutral in this... I am of relatively average height and weight, and of average looks... so even most "tall" girls will be only moderately taller then me and most "short" girls will only be moderately shorter then me... unless Real short, but thats what they make step stools for I guess.

P.S. my first and most recent girls, the only 2 I've loved are both 5'9"ish and thin and smokingly hot (imo) but I've dated the gauntlet between so maybe I subconsciously to like a type to stick w/.

If you're a swedish really good looking chick that spends a lot of time hanging at the bar waiting for someone else to buy you a drink, I won't even bother talking to you.

I've only ever dated traditionally attractive guys, but that's not really a requirement for me.
My weird thing is that I would never date anyone way more attractive than me. I don't want them to feel like they're doing me any favors.

Only a little, but given that dating tends to involve emotional commitment, and varying amounts of insanity, I'd say that you psychotic-ness(?) is understandable and actually rather sane given the circumstances.
