"Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection"Comes out Tommorow. Who's getting it?

I am beyond excited. I've never gotten the chance to play these, but I've seen full Let's Plays of boths, and they were incredible. Thankfully, I don't remember enough to know all of the puzzles/bosses in and out.

So who else is getting it, and who's getting it first thing tommorow, like me?

Seriously, I'm still in High School. The first thing I'm doing after I get home tommorow is cashing my paycheck and driving a half hour to the store to get this game. I also have Thursday off. It is now occupied.

I'm on the fence. I have heard great things about them, but the gameplay I have seen looks sub-par (to me). I really do not like the look of Ico, but Shadows of the Colossus looks fun. I shall rent it.

I never played Shadow of the Colossus but ICO I played numerous times. It's an incredible game. I have been trying to get a copy since I traded mine in many years ago, much to my regret. But I refused to play the HUGE prices slapped onto the game.

So I will be getting it, replaying ICO and then starting Shadow of the Colossus.

I only lasted 30 min with the PS2 original before I drove back to Blockbuster and dropped it off.

They have to come out when I have no money *grumbles* I swear if I can't get a copy of it next week when I have money.....I'm going to scream especially since my PS2 copy of SotC has mysteriously sprouted legs and walked off along with almost all the rest of them and my Wii game I had.....damn gremlins taking my shite.

Me. I waited until reviews showed up, to make sure they didn't completely screw them up somehow, then pre-ordered. Importing will take a few days though, so I've still got a little bit of a wait.

Should be good though... I've never played either game.

OT: Already put down a pre-order. Never got a chance to play Ico, so I'm looking forward to that one, and Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most phenomenal games I have ever played in my life.

Looking forward to it. My only regret is I never bothered to put my pristine carboard-cased collectors editions of the original PS2 version up on eBay for sale. Now I'll probably never sell them. Oh well.

I'm actually going to go into work on my day off and play it on the big screens for people to watch. Colossus looks so stunning when played, that even if we sell out of the game it'll still draw people into the store out of sheer curiosity.

And you're proud of that? 30 minutes barely even gives you enough time to find Yorda, let alone solve any of the puzzles or fight to defend her. You probably should have put some more effort into it before declaring it awful. Plus, the game isn't even that hard.

I imagine that people who struggle with ICO would have more to worry about their own skills then the quality of the game.

I missed Shadow of the Colossus the first time around and I can't even find a used copy(I don't buy physical copies of games online(personal preference)) so I'll be buying HD version this week.

All I know about the game is that it's apparently just a series of puzzle-like boss fights(even if that sentence sounds negative, it's not. It sounds like an interesting change of pace to the usual games I play).

I know absolutely nothing about Ico... and I don't care, I buying it for SotC and Ico is just a bonus additional game to me. I'll play it eventually but it's low on my to-play list.

Definately me! Getting up real early for that! ... Yeah, 10am is early to me. When you work 4pm-1am shifts, your whole sense of what day and part of the month it is gets messed up.

Oh, and for everyone who mentioned the Trophies and the fact that we now get PAL bonuses, it gets better: the game is also coming with Free XMB themes for both games.

Also, the cover is supposed to be reversible so you can make it look like the cover to your favorite one, including a NON-North-Americanized version of the cover of Ico!
