And whats up with his eyes? are they Bionic? I supose they put them in to make him a little more mysterious
A cheaper way to save lighting in space. That explains why his room is always dark. Just because your a terrorist don't mean you can't be environmentally friendly.

Seriously?
Spanish Inquisition?
Who'd expect the SPANISH INQUISITION?
NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!

Also, the G-man (Half-life) and the Rat-man (Portal) and the Illusive-man are all the same guy.

He must get bored easily...

maybe he's a computer program, and he's just been Kojima'd into an awkward, Patriot-esque position...

or maybe he's just a guy with funny-looking eyes and a dead-on Martin Sheen impersonation :)

It would be interesting in Mass Effect 3 if it turns out Illusive Man was under the influence of another leader, possibly one that convinced him of using Cerberus as an excuse for committing horrible acts for the sake of "humanity."

So he's fighting for the safety of all of our balls?

OT: I think he was killed to cover up his identity, then brought back to life like how Shepard was brought back to life, explaining the similarity in his eyes to Shepard's when he is Renegade.

Well Cerberus as a whole is mostly financed by "a lot of rich, powerful humans who prefers to remain anonymous", i'd be willing to bet the Illusive man have someone (or a "board") he reports to.

I doubt he includes all details and everything, but i'd think this group would want to know at least the general guidelines and objectives of an organisation they fund.
