Area 51...
i will say this one last time.

THERE IS NO AREA 51 IN FALLOUT. FALLOUT HAS WEST TEK AND ITS IN CALIFORNIA. HOWEVER, WEST TEK ONLY DEALT WITH FEV AND POWER ARMOR, NOT ALIENS. NOT TO MENTION WEST TEK WAS ALREADY VISITED IN FALLOUT 2.

not every alternate history needs area 51.
You do know Area 51 is a real military base right? And there has already been alot of alien technology in Fallout including its own DLC. And Area 51 is in Nevada so it would be perfect.

A better reason would be that they clearly can't make indoor areas that arnt cramped, confusing, and really repeatitive.

More casinos, and a DLC where you go to the moon. One location could be an old soviet base with a special kalishnakov. I can see something like
You have discoverd
MOON CRATER

why not? Fallout is very much 1950s pop culture and Area 51 was quite known then for it's U-2 spyplane program.

I'd like to see an wasteland upgrade pack. Instant travel to your safehouse (With more than just the Lucky 38 as an option), more weapons, more weapon mods, and maybe even more companions.

1. A real hardcore mode. Make me get minor sleep deprivation in 24 hours with an ever-increasing rate of greater debilitation beyond that, make all ammo weigh twice as much as it does now (I can still carry over 2 thousand assault rifle bullets, with 3k minigun shots, all the water and food I need + combat armor at strenght 5), make weight carried seriously increase rate of hunger and water deprivation, make hunger deprivation increase in stage at least 3 times a day and so forth.

In essence, make it matter something. Seriously, people lugging stuff like that in real life would consume more than just a few iguanas on a stick per day, with water expenditure on desert measured as bottles per hour.

As it is, the 'hardcore' mode is like 'normal' where non-hardcore is like 'tutorial'. If you're going to call it hardcore, make it at least slightly challenging.

2. Expand upon inter-tribal relations, like the Khans, the Fiends etc.

3. Add perhaps as a new questline NCR influx to the area.

4. Expand and deepen the Strip faction questlines.

I'd love to seea DLC with more Perks to choose from maybe it was just me but I felt most of them were pretty meh I did mostly Intense Traning and Animal Lover (those Geckos were annoying) But maybe it was just me.

*thinks*
DLC where you get to man the guns or bomb-bay of the B-52 you help restore for the Boomers?

[small]I think that warrent a Spoiler IDK[/small]

*thinks*
Maybe a DLC pack where you gotta travel to Mexico or other southern cities? Just love to see how San Diego, Yuma or Tijuana fair in the Fallout Universe.

that special encounter was an easter egg, and was not to be taken seriously.
that's a very paper thin argument not to have Area 51 as an DLC.

If they are considering DLC for the BoS, Area 51 would be an ideal place for them to be located due to "experimental" technology that is likely lurking within Area 51.

Just a thought.

I agree that getting rid of invisible walls would be lovely. God, how many times have I been just about there when I hit a wall. I was trying to find the caves around Bitter Spring and tried to jump from one ledge of a mountain to another. I instead hit an invisible wall and fell to my death. This is actually the most annoying thing in the game to me.

actually the boomers referenced a base called area 2 in nevada, an armory where they got the howitzers. fallout uses REAL military bases but change their purposes and even their names. in fact this is how fallout's world diverged from ours with sierra military depot in 1942. if anything, "area 51" turned into a military armory called "area 2" stocked with heavy machinery that the NCR hasn't looted yet. since you can't take heavy machinery with you an "area 51" DLC would be useless.
could be referring to Area 52 not 51

I'm guessing he's mentioned so much for that very reason. I suspect the huge swathe of innaccessible space in the west/southwest of the map will be a Grand Canyon expansion with him as the antagonist. Don't know if that is geographically accurate but they must be planning on using that space for something.
the burned man was a very notable caesar's legion legate. he failed to lead caesar to victory on the first battle of hoover dam. caesar set him on fire and tossed him into the grand canyon. now his name isn't spoken in caesar's legion as just saying his name is taboo so they call him the burned man. However, the "burned man" LIVES and was a companion in van buren. it would have been strange if they DIDN'T mention him so much.
Absolutely, all the more reason to use him in some capacity in NV DLC somewhere along the line.
Also, They mentioned the mid-west in the game(Denver's where the legion gets its dogs.) I want to see some DLC involving the twin cities or Denver, as the Missisipi seems to be a barrier in the fallout universe. And if we could visit canada, this game would be the most epic fallout ever
