Idling in TF2 less effective

Thank God, I still don't have The Home Wrecker, The Pain Train, and the Scout's new pistol that looks like a 9mm German Lauger. Not counting every hat except the Ghastly Gibus.

Almost have enough metal to smelt a hat, however.

There are a bunch of other achievements you can get in this manner. Scout has the most, iirc.

Did a quick count and you can get 9-10 achievements with a Scout on your own - only one I'm not sure about is "Survive 500 damage in one life", as I'm not sure if fall damage applies.

Only one solo achievement with the Sniper.
Three for Soldier.
Two for Demoman.
Didn't count any for Medics, sadly.
5-6 for Heavies.
Didn't count any for Pyros.
One for Spy.

And 8 from the 'General' List as well.

You can get the 1000 saps as a spy if you load up a KOTH map, change the team balance to none, spawn a load of engie bots, disguise and run arround sapping the engie farm.

You can get some demoman and soldier achievements this way too.

Yeah, did all of those, I did the Soldier/Demoman achievements a few hours ago and then joined a saigns server to farm some achievements on bots. While I still feel dirty from joining a Saigns server, I'm happy because I joined, played for about 5 minutes and got the Equalizer, used that for about 45 minutes and got the first milestone achievement, then, right when I died after getting the second milestone achievement the game decided to give me an extra Sandvich.
