Hmm... I'm guessing one of them will be to determine if I can stay sane after reading the scrolls, and the other one will determine if I can handle them responsibly. And I'm sure that if I fail either, something will try to kill me... but... well... I'm kinda immortal... check the Planescape: Torment wiki on "The Nameless One" for details.

Hmm... I don't quite buy into the concept of a "soul"... I just see it as another expression of consciousness... but I take your point.
Trouble is... I'm actually kinda used to having my identity wiped away and then having to rebuild it... so this isn't anything new to me, since it tends to happen on its own. So... again... not quite sure how any of this is a test for me. But oh well...
