It would be exactly the same. Let's face it, BioWare's last few games design-wise have been closest as you can get to being JRPG's without actually being one.

Dragons won't be called dragons they'll be called 'Lupunazins' for no real reason. And there will be one really powerful canon that the 'heroes' won't be able to stop the first time. And it won't be called a canon it'll be called a 'Pofuawf', again for no reason.
Characters would have bigger hair to start, and the game would be several discs long to support the hours of HD cinematics.

Seriously though, if a JRPG is done well and can actually draw me into it and do something innovative but so far it's been the same old recycled garbage.
Final Fantasy is the worse example, do not even try suggesting that train-wreck of a series, it had one good game and it wasn't that good. (7)

I don't think this is a bad Idea, I play the games as a turn based game anyways, pause, switch to all charicters, tell this one to rape this guy and go back to the two mages to rape the guy behind him, magic up [if needed], heal up [if needed], REPEAT! See what I mean, just let the middle man back in there and you got an JRPG!! And it would be good if they didn't change anything past what needs to be changed.

The majority of my favorite games (LUNAR, Secret of Mana, Blue Dragon, Final Fantasy[Until they stopped using turn based battles]) are JRPGs. This thread, as I see it, is just an exercise in silliness.
Back on topic...
- The battle with the Archdemon would be accompanied by a full choir chanting its' name and a guitar solo.
