It would be interesting to see what kind of missions Star Fox did outside of the "go here, kill andross and his minions" ones. Aren't they all mercenaries? They could be hired to go destroy a planet or do something for boatloads of money... That's what mercenaries do.

I don't think Link ever wants to have adventures. If people didn't force him into confronting Gannon he would be a humble gardener or musician. I always felt slightly sorry for him.
