Ummm... Kind of vauge here. What mythos of monster are we basing this off of? Given just the generic label "monster" I have to vote for the vampire. In every way my superior.

I would want to face the lycanthrope. A chance to join the pack? Hell yeah.

Depends what you'r classifying as monsters, cus technically pokemon are monsters, in this case I would hate to run into jiggalypuff, I'd rather face Charizard. Think about it if you wake up covered in drawings your going to be a laughing stock, but if you die fighting a dragon you'll be awesome for the rest of time.

Charizard is as much not a dragon as garaydos flies.
Even Lance has been known to use one.

I have suspicions that with Charizard and Garaydos both being flying, and with bird-type being removed last minute, that there was some kinda shuffle in flying and dragon that they just kinda left in original development.

Still, I'd not like to face... well, pretty much anything eager to eat me or find virgin girls perfect for their dark deeds, but I would like to meet friendly giant spiders with cockney accents.

Because tea with a British spider would be badass.

OT: I would want to meet a vampire (but my own version that isn't immortal, just very tough to beat, and can go out during the day- hey, I'm not bending the rules, you didn't specify), then become one one myself. Then I'd be able to face other monsters and win. XD
